Not too sure how it all works yet , but really excited to add that new little way of communication to the website.
It will allow us to share more with you all: music , videos , pictures …
so let’s try it !
2011 is gonna be amazing !
we have so much happening this year .
Satya and Gaba, who have been with us many times in the past, will join us at the Mas for a whole year to be our permanent WWOOFERs and help us with cooking and management.
We are about to start many improvments to the Mas:
-new bathrooms under the terrace with two toilets , two showers .
-new building that will be a pottery room
-new wooden “yoga platform” of 18 feet by 27 feet with a pergola over it
-new terrace with a new roof that will later on host a new kitchen.
-new laundry room
-new garage
-new yurt platforms
-new yurt covers (waterproof , anti mold , anti U.V)
-a bridge over the river
-new : two tipis
SO … A lot !!!!! …. a bit overwhelming actually as we are days away from getting an answer from the bank as far as getting a big loan for it all . Actually , if it all gets done before summer , I think I will be pretty amazed , but we will do our best to keep our words!
We are getting 40 % of it covered by the “Region” and “European” help; that being said, we know that at the end of it all, it will probably be a bigger investment than we think but we’re game and very impatient to start the work, so let’s keep our fingers crossed!
Jade and I have been working a lot together on the high-wire lately, taking the kids with us all over the world: Paris, Hong Kong, Oman, Scotland,Germany, England and L.A.
Some of those jobs are good publicity for the Mas Pinet , two of them being international TV shows being shot at the Mas Pinet.(we will let you more about those when we are actually done with them … but it’s quite exciting !!!)
I love this BLOG thing … I have so much to say ! … Jade would say “too much” at time… but what can I do ? That;s just how I roll ! ; ) so ….Enjoy it if you roll my way !

It was written and sang by our first singer resident and dear friend Douglas Ladnier, after a four months stay at the Mas Pinet to refresh himself and find new inspiration for a new album. Here is the first song that came out of him … it talks about the Mas Pinet. (The first time Doug played it for us, acapella on the piano , it brought tears to our eyes)
